Building Web Pages with Office97 GE-B1796

For those of you who would like the class files for this course, they are contained in this self-extracting file 5040.exe   Copy this to your hard drive and then double click it to begin the extraction process.  Choose C:\Windows\Desktop as your destination directory.

The exercise that we do during the third class is to modify Intranet\beverage1.htm using Microsoft Word, so that it looks like Intranet\beverage.htm  This is good practice for Tables in Word, involving table creation and formatting.

5. Internic domain name registration site. This lets you know if the site name you desire (bob.com or jane.net) is already registered by someone else.
6. Pricewatch Price comparison service for purchase of computers and hardware.

If at home you have an older version of Microsoft Word (Version 6, 6.01 or 7), you can download some free web building tools from Microsoft directly.  This will make your older version of Word function more like Word 97 version 8 as far as web building goes.
